The forum is working on a transparent, interactive "Map of the Austrian Circular Innovation Eco-System". The aim is to make all players in the circular economy visible.
The website will enable interested stakeholders to register in a database. All relevant initiatives, business models and projects as part of the Austrian Circular Innovation Eco-System can thus be made visible. This makes it possible to find cooperation partners along the value chains and develop joint cycles.
By means of a simple self-assessment, interested companies are given an assessment of their role, function, development status, initiatives, etc. in relation to the circular economy.
However, this also allows decision-makers in Austria to base the definition of targets, assessments and control measures on this information. This in turn serves to measure progress and compare it with long-term global ambitions such as the Paris climate targets and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), but also with national plans.
