Organising Sustainability: A Guide to Developing New Business Models

The book "Organising for Sustainability: A Guide to Developing New Business Models" by Jan Jonker and Niels Faber offers a guide to developing sustainable business models. It introduces the Business Model Template (BMT), a tool that helps companies to generate added value by creating environmental, social and economic value.

The BMT is divided into three main phases: the definition phase, the design phase and the results phase. The definition phase is about clarifying the motive, context and objective of an organisation. The design phase focuses on the development of the business model, including the selection of a business model archetype, the identification of the parties involved and the definition of a strategy. In the results phase, the impact achieved and the added value of the model are evaluated.

The book also contains numerous case studies, practical examples and tools to help entrepreneurs and organisations develop sustainable and circular business models. It is aimed at both newcomers and experienced entrepreneurs who want to revise existing models or develop new approaches.
