Together we develop innovative ideas for a climate-friendly city!

As one of ten pioneering cities in Austria, the city of Dornbirn is pursuing the vision of playing a pioneering role in the transformation towards a climate-neutral city. At the hackathon, experts and interested parties develop solutions that pave the way to climate neutrality. The focus is on specific challenges such as sustainable construction, climate-friendly mobility and adapting to climate change. The hackathon offers a unique opportunity to contribute your ideas, expertise and creativity and to jointly develop innovative approaches that will make cities and regions future-oriented!

• 2:00 pmWelcome and impulses by Thomas Pieber (Dornbirn) and Katharina Ionică (Circular Economy Forum Austria)
• Development of solutions for the following topics:

• Sustainable building materialsHow do we integrate climate-friendly materials in the "Campus" neighbourhood?
• MobilityHow do we create a low-car neighbourhood "Campus"?
• Climate adaptationHow do we design a more resilient neighbourhood that can cope with climate change?
• 6:00 pmPresentation of results and panel discussion with experts such as Karin Feurstein-Pichler (Dornbirn), Mariella Schimatzek (Circular Hub Tirol) and Katharina Ionică (Circular Economy Forum Austria)
