MATR (formerly Sleepify) is a multi-award-winning start-up based in Vienna that is developing a circular economy mattress solution for the hotel industry.

Currently, 18 million mattresses end up in landfill every year in Europe and nobody seems to care, even though we spend a third of our lives on a mattress. MATR is tackling this problem. They rent out recyclable, high-quality mattresses to hotels for a monthly fee and also take care of their delivery and regular cleaning. In this way, they relieve hotels of the tedious task of mattress management. But that's not all: they also ensure that their mattresses are fully refurbished, reused or recycled at the end of their service life. In this way, they turn waste into valuable resources and implement a circular solution that not only benefits their customers, but also our planet.
