On 30 November 2021, Karin Huber Heim, Executive Director of the Circular Economy Forum Austria, was one of the guest speakers at the Women Leaders for Planetary Health.
The WLPH aim to bridge the gap between environment and health policy through gender-equitable solutions, overcoming the inequality that still exists in terms of women's leadership while demonstrating the benefits of gender equality for sound environmental and public health solutions.
Women Leaders for Planetary Health empower women to develop solutions for planetary health at the forefront of development in the Global South. The project, which was launched at the UN Climate Summit in December 2019, aims to Promote women's leadership in the evolving field of Planetary Health, improve women's health and protect a clean environment to leave no one behind.
