Regenerative management for the circular economy

The challenges of our time are immense: Climate crisis, resource depletion, loss of biodiversity. Many feel overwhelmed by the complexity - worry and paralysis quickly set in. But there is a way to retain the ability to act and optimism: regenerative thinking and management.

The „Regenerate Nature“ principle is one of the central pillars of the circular economy - and it offers far more than just another concept. It is a mindset that takes us from the defensive to the creative power. Instead of just „doing less damage“, regenerative business goes one step further: it restores what has been depleted - and creates economic success in the process.

In this webinar, we would like to show how regenerative approaches can deepen and broaden the transformation to a circular economy - and how they can give you and your organisations renewed hope and impact.

Together we illuminate:

  • what lies behind the concept of regenerative management.
  • how companies can use regenerative thinking to develop sustainable, systemically effective solutions for a circular economy.
  • how the focus on the regeneration of people and nature can be harmonised with economic success.
  • what opportunities arise in companies when the circular economy and regeneration are considered together.

We also present practical examples of companies that have already successfully implemented steps towards a regenerative economy - and thus show that transformation is possible.

Why should I take part?
Because hope is not a luxury - it is a necessity for effective design. Regenerative strategies show: We are not victims of the crisis, but creators of a better future. They restore what has been exhausted and thus create real sustainability in the economy and society.

Target group:

The webinar is aimed at specialists and managers, transformation facilitators and project managers who:

  • seek new impetus for sustainable and resilient business models,
  • maintain and strengthen their ability to act,
  • want to understand how business can be part of the solution - not just the problem.

The webinar consists of keynote speeches by our high-calibre speakers:

  • Mathias Behrens is a humanities scholar, co-founder and board member of fiveP eG, transformation consultant, coach and project manager of the Regenerative Economy Incubator re:connect and former industry manager.
  • Moritz Meidert is the founder and managing director of Kommune Zukunft and Vierte Ort, two companies that are currently developing into socially, ecologically and economically regenerative organisations.
  • Melanie Kraschitzer is a Fellow at the Institute for Regenerative Economy and supports people and organisations in rethinking the economy as a malleable, adaptive system and developing it in a regenerative way.

Moderation:

  • Andreas Ellenberger supports people and organisations in implementing change projects towards a circular economy with a positive, solution-oriented mindset and is Advisor on Project Management of the Circular Economy Forum Austria.
  • Andreas Meltzer is driving forward the broad implementation of regenerative business models. He combines findings from research with his many years of experience in consulting and is a member of the Circular Economy Forum Austria.
