The Styrian volcanic region became Austria's first model region for bioeconomy & circular economy in 2022. During the process, we explored how sustainable development can succeed. Based on various models and the smart use of regional and sustainable resources as well as strong cooperation, innovative solutions are being developed for the region that can be adapted throughout Austria.
The Styrian volcanic region stands for an ecological, cycle-orientated and economically strong future.
