This is precisely why the NGO CliMates Austria in co-operation with GYBN and WWF Generation Earth again this year Youth Environmental Conference LCOY 2026!
From the 10 to 12 April young people between the ages of 14 and 30 years at the University of Vienna, to learn about the big issues of our time, make new contacts and work on ideas for a better future.

Around 20 workshops - from a playful biodiversity puzzle to practical workshops on campaign design, sustainable investing and environmental journalism to creative art-from-waste activities
A personal „fireside chat“ with EU parliamentarian and activist Lena Schilling
The presentation of numerous environmental protection organisations at the „Market of Initiatives“
A panel discussion on the topic „Achieving climate targets, preserving biodiversity: A contradiction?“
Small discussion rounds („table talks“) of the participants with politicians and scientists
Free food, a fun evening programme and much more!
