In January, the Austria's first executive training programme for CIRCULAR ECONOMY & INNOVATION at the University of Applied Sciences of the BFI Vienna. The compact certificate programme was developed by the experts of the Circular Economy Forum Austria for executives and managers from all sectors who want to acquire the necessary knowledge for forward-looking decisions quickly and in depth. Existing questions from your own company are welcome and can be worked on cooperatively during the course under the guidance of experienced experts.

The first module provides participants with the necessary basic knowledge in the field of the circular economy and regenerative economic systems. It deals with the connection to the SDGs, presents the current legal framework and teaches students the systemic conditions for sustainable development.
The second module provides participants with the necessary practical knowledge to initiate, plan and support transformation processes in a corporate and organisational context.
The third module provides participants with the relevant knowledge on cooperation, collaboration and co-creation as well as approaches for applying this knowledge in the respective organisational context. Module 3 also imparts knowledge on how materials can be managed in a cycle.
The fourth module teaches participants about the potential of circular value creation approaches and business models as well as approaches to analysing these in an organisational context. Module 4 also teaches approaches and possibilities for thinking about and implementing the circular economy in strategic dimensions.
These four modules are accompanied by the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) Organising for Sustainability, which teaches the basics of sustainability and the circular economy.
