Textiles in the circular economy - repair, collection, social economy & co
Dealing with used textiles currently presents cities, municipalities, regions and their associations with considerable challenges - organisationally, economically and strategically. At the same time, new opportunities are opening up for targeted support, further development and regional anchoring of the circular economy in the textile sector.
A publicly accessible online webinar will take place immediately before the roundtable (18 March 09:00-11:30). This will provide a compact overview of the status quo of used textiles management in Austria - including current figures and framework conditions, the role of local authorities and associations, European requirements and examples from the social economy and regions. The webinar is exclusively for the purpose of joint professional categorisation. [Insert link]
Building on this, the Circular Cities & Regions Roundtable invites you to an in-depth dialogue in a closed setting. The focus is on direct dialogue and the exchange of experiences on specific challenges, options for action, good practices and the next implementation steps from the perspective of the public sector. The roundtable is designed as a confidential, dialogue-oriented format - comparable to a professional get-together at eye level.
