About the Roundtable:

The Circular Cities & Regions Roundtable (CCRR) promotes the regular exchange of circular economy initiatives in Austrian cities and regions. Through cooperation with the climate pioneer cities, this roundtable offers a platform to discuss and promote the circular economy as an integral part of climate protection plans. The 5th "Circular Cities & Regions" roundtable will take place as part of the national resource week of the Resource Forum Austria in Salzburg on 28 May 2025.

Target group:

This event is aimed at representatives of Austria's climate pioneer cities as well as decision-makers and multipliers from various administrative levels, including cities, municipalities and regional institutions with expertise in climate protection and the circular economy.

Benefits for climate pioneer cities:

Participation in the roundtable enables the climate pioneer cities to supplement their climate protection plans with effective circular economy strategies. By sharing best practice examples and discussing concrete implementation steps, the cities can achieve their climate neutrality targets more efficiently. The roundtable also offers the opportunity to test innovative collaborations and drive projects forward together.
