Refurbed is one of the fastest growing circular start-ups in the Viennese business landscape and specialises in the refurbishment and resale of used electronics. Its online platform enables the purchase of electronics 40 % below the original price with a minimum 12-month guarantee. The start-up has received one of the highest Series A investments in the Austrian start-up sector with 15.6 million euros and has already expanded rapidly into various European markets despite its young age. Refurbed has also launched a rental service for its refurbished electronics in line with its circular vision, where users can choose to rent rather than buy for a fee. In this sense, a growing service design community for electronics is emerging, managed and supported by Refurbed.
