Online Roundtable Circular Economy & Digitalisation

Circular digital technologies and data models enable and accelerate the transformation to a circular economy: companies need to track and optimise their own resource consumption more consciously. They need to strengthen the connections between the players in the supply chain through digital online platforms and technologies.

The experts from business and the innovation and digital sector and 100 participants of the Circular Economy Forum Austria online roundtable on 15 December 2021 discussed the role of digitalisation in the transformation to a circular economy, strategies for necessary circular digital infrastructures and the limits and opportunities for companies using digital technologies and data models to achieve their goals of implementing circularity in processes and business models.
