On 05 June 2024, the Austrian Trade Association and the Circular Economy Forum Austriaentrepreneurs who are just starting to implement the requirements of the Green Deal to this workshop to help them set the right priorities.
In an exciting and practice-orientated workshop in the afternoon, experts provided valuable insights into the requirements of various regulations and showed the first steps towards implementation in the company.
The seven keynote speeches were given by Dr Christian Richter-Schöller (DORDA Rechtsanwälte) on the Taxonomy Regulation, Dr Martin Kreeb (Charlotte Fresenius University) on ESG, Dr Angela Drosg-Plöckinger (ImpactZert) on CSRD, DI Gregor Gluttig (Inloop) on the Supply Chain Act, Mag. Werner Koessler (Circular Economy Forum Austria) on the circular economy, Clemens Leopold, M.Sc. (Sustainability&) on the carbon footprint and Reinhard Backhausen (EPEA-Hamburg) on Cradle to Cradle (C2C), who also acted as moderator.
The conclusion was that sustainable management in the cycle is often simpler than it first appears!
