The "Mind the gap" event was held on 28 February 2022 by the Club of Rome, in cooperation with the EU Environment Agency, RepaNet, and the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, at the Natural History Museum Vienna and as an online event via YouTube.
At the event, the currently published Circularity Gap Report 2022 presented. The keynote speech by Matthew Fraser (Circle Economy, Amsterdam) and the subsequent panel discussion focussed on current developments in the circular economy and discussed its potential for achieving the sub-2-degree target.
In the second part of the event, Karin Huber-Heim, Executive Director of the Circular Economy Forum Austria, Willi Haas (BOKU), Marcel Krejc (Matwash), Rainer Schultheis (SAPHENUS) and Karl Kienzl (BMK) came together for a panel discussion.
