Greenwashing: Is everything that says green really green?

We are surrounded by labels, green advertising posters and recyclable materials that are supposed to show us how sustainable, environmentally friendly and socially responsible individual companies are. But not everywhere that says green is green. When companies position themselves better than they actually are, this is known as greenwashing. Products, entire companies or even political strategies are presented in a green light. Karin Huber-Heim, Director of the Circular Economy Forum Austria and an expert in corporate sustainability, explains what greenwashing is all about, how consumers can recognise it and which measures companies should avoid as far as possible in Episode 31 of the legal podcast from DORDA..

Another article by Karin Huber-Heim, Andrea Karner and Daniela Knieling to Greenwashing - and what you should know about it today, from January 2021, you will find HERE at respACT.
