The second EU Taxonomy Talk on the circular economy took place yesterday!
After the welcoming address by Vöslauer Mineralwasser GmbH Managing Director Schlossnikl Herbert, Marina Luggauer, Assistant Manager Sustainability Services, KPMG IMPACT Advisory, Marlene Johler, Advisor for Business & Corporate Development, Circular Economy Forum Austria and
CEO mindX and Christine Vieira Paschoalique, Head of Corporate Sustainability, Corporate Sustainability & Innovation at Wienerberger AG, talked about the various challenges posed by the EU Taxonomy Regulation and answered questions from our participants, whose companies now have to adapt to the new regulation.
The focus was on the transition to a circular economy. Our panel of experts provided examples and helpful suggestions on what to expect and how companies from a wide range of industries can organise their activities in a circular way.
The EU taxonomy is intended to drive forward the transformation of the economy and create transparency. Although there are still uncertainties, the Green Deal is an opportunity. Let's seize it in good time!
The taxonomy talk will be continued next year.
