Companies that align their operations with the circular economy save energy and emissions. This study shows how market-leading innovative companies are already benefiting from the transition to a circular structure through this reduction in emissions and electricity demand, and formulates six concrete recommendations that policy makers can use to support improvements in the implementation of circularity.
The focus is on the fact that the circular economy is not only ecologically beneficial, but also economically beneficial, as it reduces dependence on fossil fuels and creates new economic opportunities.
