Circular Economy Summit 2024

On 28 May, the Circular Economy Forum Austria had the pleasure of organising the Circular Economy Summit Austria for the Ministry of Climate Action. This exclusive event brought together industry leaders, policy makers and administrative experts to discuss effective strategies to promote the circular economy in the EU Member States.

The event began with an inspiring welcome from the Federal Minister for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, Leonore Gewessler, followed by a captivating keynote speech from Manfred Renner. Over the course of the day, the panel discussions covered topics such as international cooperation, public-private partnerships and data and monitoring, which decision-makers are grappling with in order to advance the development of the circular economy.
