On 19 October, the 3rd Circular Economy Workshop took place at Vienna AirportCity. With the participation of Stefan Blachfellner, Valerie-Sophie Schönberg and Andreas Ellenberger from the Circular Economy Forum Austria, the possibilities of circular economy strategies in AirportCity were discussed, from Buildings as a Material Bank using self-created digital twins to Social and Green IT with the AfB gGmbH and upcycling design and products from garbarage. Stefan Blachfellner introduced the participants to the concept of cascade utilisation in order to clarify the terms and concepts of a strategic circular economy.
Vienna AirportCity has set itself the goal of addressing all economic, ecological and social aspects of this topic.
