The dissertation "Abfallbegriff und Kreislaufwirtschaft" by Patrick Petschinka analyses the development of waste law in Austria in the context of the increasing importance of the circular economy. The focus of the work is on a critical examination of the concept of waste and the associated legal consequences. Petschinka discusses proposals for the further development of waste legislation in order to better adapt it to the objectives of the circular economy and promote waste prevention.
