Sustainable circular economy - simple and clear

On 05.06.2024, the Austrian Trade Association and the Circular Economy Forum Austria organised a special half-day workshop to inform entrepreneurs who are taking the first steps towards implementing the various legal requirements of the Green Deal about which aspects they should focus on in these initial measures.

The presentations were given by:

• Dr Christian Richter-Schöller (DORDA Rechtsanwälte) on the subject of the Taxonomy Regulation
• Dr Martin Kreeb (Charlotte Fresenius University) on ESG
• Dr Angela Drosg-Plöckinger (ImpactZert) on the CSRD
• DI Gregor Gluttig (Inloop) on the Supply Chain Act
• Werner Koessler (Circular Economy Forum Austria) on the circular economy
• Clemens Leopold, M.Sc. (Sustainability&) on the carbon footprint
• Reinhard Backhausen (EPEA-Hamburg) on Cradle to Cradle (C2C) and moderation of the event

Experts introduced the participants to the requirements of the various regulations and demonstrated the first steps for implementation in the company.
