Biobase

BioBASE acts as a nationwide innovation and networking platform for the bioeconomy and circular economy. Through cross-industry networking of business and research partners, BioBASE promotes the transfer of technology, knowledge and materials for the broad promotion of bio-based products and the recycling of resources and also serves as a central point of contact for politics and administration on these issues. BioBASE serves as a cross-industry hub for raw and residual material flows, emphasises circular thinking and supports companies in implementing this. Our network consists of around 60 partner institutions, including major Austrian companies, professional organisations, clusters, administration and relevant research institutions. To this end, BioBASE is developing an interactive competence map with suppliers and buyers of (biogenic) raw and residual material flows throughout Austria.
