On 22 March 2022, the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology invited around 700 participants (including online guests) to the Circular Economy Summit Austria in the Aula der Wissenschaften in Vienna.
The status of the circular economy in Austria, innovative international initiatives and the national circular economy strategy currently being developed were presented at the summit. With the summit, the ministry had set itself the goals of broadening the information base, developing guidelines for the future and opening up a broad discourse between politics, business, science and civil society.
