Resources have long been more than just a question of availability and efficiency. They have become a strategic lever for economic resilience, entrepreneurial sovereignty and long-term competitiveness. In a time of geopolitical tensions, volatile supply chains, growing dependencies and increasing pressure to transform, it is clear that sustainable business models are created where resources are rethought, used more intelligently and systemically valorised.
The 2026 edition of the CIRCULAR INSIDER AUSTRIA is dedicated to precisely these questions. Under the title „Resources as leverage“ the magazine sheds light on how the circular economy can contribute to strengthening security of supply, reducing dependencies, realising innovation potential and opening up new economic perspectives. The focus is on specific approaches from Austria, relevant legal and economic framework conditions, international developments and issues relating to education and training.
The contributions range from economic fundamentals for Austria, industrial and biogenic waste utilisation, circular solutions in trade, construction, health, culture and tourism to resource sovereignty, trade law, remanufacturing, strategic resilience and global resource flows. They show how companies, regions, educational stakeholders and pioneering organisations are already working on a resilient and circular economy.
The new issue will be published in April 2026 - freely available digitally and in 1,000 high-quality print editions for selected stakeholders.
