New publication: Circular economy handbook

750+ pages of concentrated knowledge on the entire subject area.

This book is in a special way a work of our national and international community, edited by two of our board members, Karin Huber-Heim and Valerie-Sophie Schönberg, as well as Julika Dittrich, an internationally active business and environmental law expert, who was a founding member of the Forum in 2020 as the then head of Circular Futures.

At its first official presentation, the book is not only celebrated but also discussed:

📆 Monday, 26 January 2026, 18:00-20:00 hrs

📍 Austrian Trade Association (ÖGV), Eschenbachgasse 11, 1010 Vienna

The handbook combines scientific principles, political framework conditions and entrepreneurial practice to create a systemic overall picture of the circular economy. It is precisely this connection that we will reflect on and develop further together with the audience on this evening.

Topics discussed by and with the authors:

  • Circular economy between regulatory pressure and innovation opportunity - a dialogue between business & administration
  • Relevant topics, drivers, challenges & a joint forecast for 2030+
  • Levers for the transformation to a circular economy - basic principles & models, strategies & business models, technology & digitalisation, materials & resource management, EU regulation & financing
