The Vienna Standortanwalt report on the green economy emphasises the economic and ecological benefits of climate protection for Vienna. By investing in green infrastructure, such as the expansion of renewable energies, the modernisation of transport routes and the Promotion of the circular economy<\/strong>The aim is to promote economic growth and prosperity in the future and significantly reduce CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report shows specific Viennese projects that have a significant economic and environmental impact. The construction and operation of these projects generate direct and indirect economic benefits, create and secure numerous jobs and make a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. For example, the expansion of the public transport network, the refurbishment of buildings and the use of renewable energy sources have resulted in considerable savings in CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vienna is pursuing ambitious climate targets, such as CO2 neutrality by 2040. Measures to achieve these targets include the expansion of photovoltaics, the electrification of transport and the promotion of sustainable construction methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close cooperation between business and the public sector, innovative technologies, efficient infrastructure and a strong circular economy will make a sustainable and prosperous future possible for Vienna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
